The Vibrations
Shattering my Soul
The ground moves beneath me
Within me
Feeling the vibration move within me
Trembling from within
Until the my bones splitter
Break
Collapsing me from within
I gasp and cry out
As the pain radiates through me
Escaping me
As my flesh becomes a sleeve for bones
My blood seeping from the puncture wounds
Caused from those shattered bones
As I crumple to the floor
I am not me
I am not you
I am part of the energy
That surrounds this earth
The nature proclaiming my being
Myself
The parts of me I never knew
And always leaned towards for comfort
But now I am neither
I am all and nothing as my energy is captured
And swallowed by this earth
By with life
That was never meant for me

There is something powerful in the way the body breaks here before the self dissolves into something larger. What stayed with me is that final loss of boundary, where pain, earth, and identity seem to become the same thing.
Cognitive dissonance. Well penned
